Connecticut and New England Legislative Update

Posted on June 23, 2011. Filed under: Uncategorized |

In case you haven’t noticed, the times, they are a-changing! Well, at least some legislation is.

We’ve got two excellent resources for you.

1. I’ve shared this before, but let’s face it, a summary beats reading a 277-page bill any day, right? Read this summary, provided by the DRS. 277 pages has been whittled down to a readable, post-on-the-fridge-able four pages. Thank you, DRS!

2. We’ve also emailed out our second installment of the New England Advocacy Collaborative – it should be waiting for your attention in your inbox now. You can also read it here. You’ll have to log in, as we put this together with the other New England State CPA Societies as a member benefit. But if you have clients in other states, this webpage ( will keep you in the loop on any bills that may affect business in New England.

Hope this helps!
