New York has a budget…

Posted on April 1, 2011. Filed under: Uncategorized |

For apparently only the fourth time in 25 years, New York’s budget was completed by the deadline. Pretty impressive, considering what Gov. Cuomo (and all of the other governors) are up against this year.

The $132.5 million budget features severe cuts to education and healthcare and the “biggest single-year decrease in the state work force in at least 15 years.” New York is certainly going to be seeing some big changes soon.

What do you think of Cuomo’s proposal? How does it stack up with what we’ve been hearing from Gov. Malloy?
