NYT: ‘Budget Gaps Push Governors to Similar Answers’

Posted on January 17, 2011. Filed under: Uncategorized |

In today’s New York Times article “Budget Gaps Push Governors to Similar Answers,” we see again that, at the very least, Connecticut is not alone in its scary situation.

It’s an interesting read – it seems the Republican and Democrat labels have lost a bit of their pull. Everybody’s just waiting – and hoping – for change with some remarkably similar recipes.

In other news…

Let’s hope for some good news when it comes to Connecticut’s employment situation – I hope it’s part of Governor Malloy’s plan. According to the Hartford Business Journal, Connecticut’s annual employment growth is expected to be the worst in the country, estimated to increase only 0.9653 percent through 2016.
