Marcia Marien is getting more press with the “Fix Our Future” roadshow!

Check out the Norwich Bulletin, gathering some press for Marcia’s December 6 presentation to the Norwich City Council.

Accounting Society President to Brief City Council on State Budget Crisis

I love this message from the city manager:

The accounting society is made up of 6,000 CPAs throughout Connecticut. The organization “believes that Connecticut and our legislators must face the tough decisions to fix our future now,” City Manager Bergren said in the release.

He added: “The members of the City Council would like to encourage everyone to attend this presentation which will highlight the fiscal realities that we are facing in Connecticut and will be forced to deal with in our upcoming budget process.”

People are listening!

Marcia presented her roadshow to 27 towns on Wednesday, and already 5 of the 27 towns have followed up with her.  She tells me that the council member who organized next Monday’s presentation in Norwich has already seen the presentation twice and is very excited. All of their boards and committees, the regional council of governments, and the regional economic development entities have been invited.

Well done, Marcia!
